Children’s Home
The nucleus of a child’s life at The Journey will focus around each of the 10 children’s homes which will be located through the property. There a child will live and be surrounded by the love of Christ working through their host family, who will manage the day-to-day life within their home. These homes will be designed and conceived to manage the flow of this daily life, while surrounding the child with a sense of belonging as any child would in any normal family. The goal is simple: through the love of Christ these child will be given the opportunity to grow up as close to how a child grows up in loving household. The design of the homes will be unique to each other but will have in common many tried and true features that have proven the test of time in the best fostering environments to afford the best experience for each child.
If you wish to donate the cost of one of the Children’s Homes, that residence will be designated with the name of the benefactor who finances its construction. Contact Alan to discuss the details
